The Playmobil exhibition returns to the Château de Lanniron for its sixth edition. Embark on an adventure that will introduce you to two chapters of Playmobil history: dinosaurs and the conquest of space. Discover the unique and detailed scenes, imagined and designed by Dominique Bethune, in the orangery from October 28 through November 1, 2023.

Come enjoy a stroll through the estate and journey between heaven and earth with the Playmobil exhibition, then jump into the Trampoforest before exploring the château’s historic gardens, and finally, treat yourself to a delicious snack at our food truck. Whether with family or friends, young and old alike will find something to enjoy at this exhibition in the historic Orangery. It’s a trip down memory lane for Playmobil lovers and a chance for children to let their imaginations run wild!

The Lanniron Orangery, an 18th-century building whose façade has been listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments since 1986, consists of three rooms, one of which is on the mezzanine level. Thanks to its large windows, the historic dioramas (scenes) will be bathed in autumn light.

Discover Playmobil through themes ranging from Dinosaurs to Space. There’s something to fascinate everyone!

The Playmobil Exhibition: What Is It? Who Is Behind It?

The Playmobil exhibition is, above all, the brainchild of an enthusiast, Dominique Béthune. Having known Playmobil his whole life, his passion was reignited when he became a father. Combining model-making and collecting, the exhibits showcase unique figures and settings in themed diorama displays. The themes range from history to cinema to heroic fantasy. This diversity of themes is made possible only by years of purchasing, crafting, and collecting these legendary figures spanning several generations.

At the Château de Lanniron, we have been counting on Dominique Béthune for six years now to beautify the Orangery and inspire our visitors’ imaginations. This sixth edition, themed “Dinosaurs in Space,” will take place over five days from October 28 through November 1, 2023.

On the program:

  • Self-guided tours of the historic gardens at Château de Lanniron.
  • Access to the “Trampôforest,” a 350-square-meter course of nets strung between the trees.
  • Access to the Orangerie for the Playmobil exhibition.
  • Access to a food truck for a snack.
